BOARD EVALUATION PROCESS

In order to fully comprehend the company prior to designing the board evaluation our work will always start with a preparation phase centered around meetings with the Chair and the CEO.

In the execution phase we believe in always being two interviewers to secure thoroughness and separate perspectives. Further we want to facilitate an open dialogue to get the board members perspectives on key issues related to board effectiveness.

Optional integrated activities

A board evaluation must be tailored to meet the specific needs of the company. Depending on where on a three-year evaluation cycle the board is, the maturity and status of the board, certain activities may be added and integrated into the main evaluation model such as:

Add-on services

When conducting a board evaluation specific areas may be identified on which the Board must act in order to improve effectiveness. Some of these activities can be integrated to the board’s annual wheel, while others may be added as a natural continuation of the evaluation.
